Jewelry That Catches Your Eye

Jewelry is something that I don't wear often. The jewelry that I currently have has been gifts and is generally pretty classic, such as a pearl bracelet. However with the search for accessories for the wedding I have started to notice the entire world of unique jewelry out there. I am definitely spending more time checking out jewelry designers' websites than I ever have so when I received an email about Ajaron Jewelry I headed right over to the website to check it out.

The first thing to catch my eye was this fantastic and unique bracelet... Maybe not for the wedding day but I certainly could see wearing this for the rehearsal dinner or just an evening out on the town.

These earrings however would look incredibly pretty with a bridal gown...

And this ring is something I could see myself wearing nearly anywhere. It is simple and yet different enough to catch your eye...

It definitely is a good thing when you can purchase jewelry that is unique and know that a percentage of the sale is being donated to charity. I love that AJaron donates a percentage of every purchase to One.org.

Maybe now that I am 'growing up' and finding all these fantastic jewelry designers I will start to accessorize more often.

A Fresh Summer Tote

I seriously want {yes, I am working on recognizing need vs. want} this little summer tote from Anthropologie... But isn't a fresh tote that I could carry to all summer activities a need?

With This Ring You, Which You Will Wear Forever...

Speaking of the ceremony... we have yet to decide on rings. I have been looking for a while and posted about the fairly simple bands that we were considering. But now I have been thinking that maybe something a little different, a little vintage inspired might fit. However I struggle with selecting a ring style that might be somewhat trendy... hopefully this is a piece of jewelry that I will wear for the rest of my life. Shouldn't it be timeless and classic?

I love the Gatsby Band from Green Karat. My hesitation here is whether I will love it in 20+ years.

This simple band from Blue Nile will always look simple and timeless... but may be too plain? It definitely would not be out of place though with my 'every day' style.

Whichever direction I decide to go, I better commit soon as according to the 'timelines' we should be ordering our bands.

The Hunt for Wedding Bands Begins

One of the more important things that is now on our to-do list is to search for wedding bands. Being that both of us are completely ‘online junkies’ we have started our research through online retailers. Just like any major purchase, I like to see as many options as I can with pricing so that I can feel as though I am making an informed decision. Some online retails are more helpful than others...

One of the sites that I have found to be really helpful in our search is Abazias. There is a wide variety of styles and nearly all the info that you want to know is right there. Plus they have ‘Live Chat’ which I love; it is so wonderful to just IM and get your answers from someone without having to wait for an email or spend time on a call... much more covert when doing research at work {not like I do that}.

So anyway, here the top contenders so far, all found on the Abazias site...

I am leaning towards simple platinum bands as our top options, rounded for me and flat for D:

The second option would include a few diamonds, still in a simple setting, to coordinate with my e-ring, and band that has some edging detail for D:

The third option is my dream ring style... I love the eternity band and Abazias has a few that would perfect:

I think that we will probably do the simple platinum bands as I prefer this look.

I also found a couple pretty options for my something blue...

These are stunning and probably more than I should spend but maybe a I could send to D as hint for a gift!

I love looking at jewelry... it is just so fun to look at things that are sparkly and pretty.
